Belted Scarf.

This weekend when I went out with my friend Cj I bought this dress. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it and had to get it. So today I wore the dress with a circle scarf, and a belt to hold it in place. I decided to wear pink socks with it to compliment the dress. I love these shoes, they have to be one of the most comfortable pairs I own. This is a pretty simple outfit, with a unique thought process. Usually when I'm getting dressed, I try not to think too hard. I start with a certain piece and go from there, adding meaningful outfit details.

Disco Stripe.

Yesterday was a good day, and a little unexpected. My good friend Cj and I went out to the mall and coincidentally he happened to have his camera with him. I thought lets do it! So we went to the court yard and started shooting.

What's crazy about this outfit is that I put it together in two seconds. I wanted to keep it simple but always interesting. So I put on my American Apparel disco pants with my Stripe Interlock Zip Shoulder Crop Top also AA.  Keeping the jewelry simple I wore a Michael Kors watch, Madewell Leather wrap bracelet (like usual), and two black and gold bracelets.  Lately I have found a love for wearing headscarves. I'm sure this won't be the last time you'll see it. So for this outfit I decided to through it on, to help give it an entirely different look. An Arabic would think that I would be disowning my religion with this outfit, huh? That's if I were truly Arabic lol.  No heels this time, black lace up Bakers sandals did the job. Thank you Cj For shooting me! Oh btw guys you'll probably be hearing about Cj more often, his going be around for a while :)

So who says you cant wear open toes in February? 

Play with different colors to help you achieve the look you want. Remember outfits "never" have to be so matchy matchy! Now the use of socks is appreciated by the weather, but it also gives an outfit a different look. It ends up adding a little bit of life. Let the socks you choose either enhance the attention to the shoe, or simply let them be a complement.

Ladies ladies ladies. Today was a little bit disturbing, I saw leggings worn the way they are NOT meant to be worn. Ladies, leggings are NOT pants! Yes they can be worn a certain way so that they are your only bottom piece, but do it with some style and meaning. I know we like to wear our leggings, to look good and show off our figures (lol) and by all means I'm all for that too. BUT sometimes it is not cute to wear leggings that are completely see though. Let your leggings give meaning to your outfit while also complementing it as well. Here are some hot legging outfits I spotted out. As you can see their are different ways to wear leggings. Don't be scared to wear longer tops or layers. Because either way you'll still look hot and sexy. Hope this helps! xoxo

I had the opportunity to do a shoot with Mars Mansion, for their last release the Quick Strike Holiday Butler Tee. (marsmansion.com) I had a great time and the shoot turned out pretty hot. So here are a few of my shots. In this shoot I am wearing American Apparel shades, Madewell Leather wrap bracelet, Micheal Kors watch, J.crew Camp socks, and of course a Mars Mansion Butler tee. The shoot was meant to be very simple, but hot. Lastly I had the honor to take a shot with Mr. Frisco, which happens to be my hunny! lol (friscoblack.com) I love this shot, You know its funny the ones you don't plan out, are the best!
