Body Art.

So today I had the pleasure to shoot My Good friend Bree and her brother Cykeem. It was a pretty interesting day. It seemed like at first things were not going so smooth. But in the end we made it work, and they did great!

I love Bree she is gorgeous, and I totally took advantage of her beautiful long hair. So I decided to put her in some of my jewelry. She had on black and gold, each individual piece was different but in the same alley and it all came together nicely. The jewelry came from vintage shops and XXI. It's crazy how you would never think someone so pretty would have a tattoo like hers on her back! SO I wanted to show it off! Now that's a passion for art.

Now Cykeem was great and so willing to get in front of the camera. He has a unique and cool look to him. I was digging the dreads, then I said "Lets put it up, like crazy!" and he was down! Cykeem has pretty neat tattoos. I found them rather interesting. His art just adds another element to him as a whole.

Thanks guys!

Beach feeling.

On my trip back home I was able to shoot at the beach (San Diego). These were my top three photos.

First photo- When I look at this picture it makes my think, Its almost like being at two places at once. The hill that you can see is actually Mexico. Believe it or not! Crazy huh?

Second photo- I love this photo. You can interpret it in many ways. Perhaps this man in the photo is going through hard times. Perhaps he is praying. Or perhaps he is just looking at the beautiful ocean in front of him. All together I love all the elements of this photo.

Third photo- I like this photo. I think the angle of this shot is perfect. I can almost feel the emotion of a long days worth of good waves caught. Mission accomplished!

Art.

This is a drawing of my sister Raquel and I. So as we were walking along Seaport Village in San Diego, Ca we came across this marvellous artist. I must add he was a little crazy! But it all gave him personality to his art. I would say it took him about an hour to finish our picture. Long time huh? Luckily he was a very interesting man, and he keep us well entertained. Laughing most of the time at his jokes, and sometimes at his own weirdness. But I give this man props. He did very well, this actually does look much like us! Thank you "Steve Mac" for the Picture and for the opportunity to have met you!

The original colors of this drawing: Orange, Blue, Pink, Yellow, Black, and white

Detailing.

So here is my head headshot, And I would have to say that the necklace took over the party pretty much! My mom gave me this necklace for christmas and I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. As you can see in the detail shot, even though the necklace said enough alone I decided to add two of my favorite peices. One my extended bendable one finger ring (Urban outfitters), Two my Fenton/Fallon for J.Crew jaws earrings. Which actually help bring everything together nicely, and was not overdoing it or challenging the main focus. And as you can see in the last photo I wore just a simple black button dwn, sleevless top.

I always say "Choose one thing to be your outfitts focus." This time, it was the jewlery!

Diamond Mahone.

I had the wonderful opportunity to shoot with the lovely Diamond Mahone. (trashandcaviar.com) I would have to say that she is entirely equally ballanced. She pretty much has it all!  Diamonds head shot is a killer. Her features speak for themselves. I think her eyebrows give her personality, they add a whole other element to her natural beauty. I love this second picture, It all comes together perfectly and shows such sensibility. The earings worked perfect, they did thier job and made the statment. It was a pleasure!

Raquel.

When I went home to California for Christmas, my beautiful sister let me shoot her! She did such a great job. I was totally impressed with the end results. That day it happened to be very nice, and so what better thing than to shoot at the beach? The sun was just right and the placement for the shoot was perfect. Raquel has long gorgeous curly hair, hair that most girls can envy. I think what I love the most is how sweet and innocent her distinct facial features are. Thank you once again!

Through my blog EXECLLENT GUILT I want to be able to express myself through my photography of natural scenes, and through different fashion styles. This blog will also help myself find the beauty in may things. While trying to find the perfect name for this blog I went through alot of meditating but in conclusion I think I came up with exactly what I wanted. EXCELLENT GUILT means "striving to be excellent dealing with guilt and hardship along the way of life, having committed an offence or wrong but in all excellence. Style or art." I hope to bring you interest in my blog through the emotions I will express with fashion and photography. Coming soon!
